Llanos Nativity Service

What a wonderful celebration on Sunday 16th December! Llanos Church was nearly full with families who had joined the children for our special Nativity Service. We were delighted to have Jack as our little drummer boy, Meadow as an Angel and Poppy who did our prayers. She also played a shepherd with an enormous lamb to give to Jesus.

We had Mary and Joseph, Shepherds and Kings and Darren was the grumpiest Inn Keeper who had everyone laughing and involved with his sleepless night! It was such a wonderful nativity and enjoyed by everyone.

Our carols were especially for the children, including Little Donkey, Little Donkey and Margie wrote a story for the children to tell the donkey's story. Rev Vincent blessed the crib and involved the children in his Christmas address, with everyone singing Happy Birthday in both English and Spanish.

The Christmas story was read from the Children's Bible by Janet and its simplicity held children and adults alike.

We were all invited to "Come and Join the Celebrations" by a transformed inn keeper, who had finally seen the reason for his sleepless night!

After the service, the children enjoyed Christmas treats prepared by our lovely nurture team!
Richard took these lovely photos for us to enjoy and for those who were unable to join us.
